Landmarks of the city with wonderful and unforgettable architecture recognised all over the world.

"La LLotja de Mar" 
A building with more than 700 years of history, one of the most significant and splendid monuments that represents the economy, culture and architecture of the city fused in the same space, unique in Europe. The LLotja de Mar has witnessed key moments of the country and the mark of renowned figures such as the Colom family, the architect Gaudí and the painter Pablo Picasso, the place where they studied and the land where the first public bank in Catalonia was founded. Its contracting hall was built during medieval times and was the site of the first opera performed on the Iberian Peninsula.

"La Casa Batlló"
The building was constructed in 1877 by Emilio Sala Cortés (one of Gaudí's architecture teachers), when there was still no electricity in Barcelona. In 1903 it was bought by Josep Batlló y Casanovas, a textile industrialist who owned several factories in Barcelona. D. Josep Batlló gave Antoni Gaudí total creative freedom, commissioning him to carry out work that initially consisted of demolishing the building. However, thanks to Gaudí's audacity, the demolition of the house was ruled out and a complete renovation was carried out between 1904 and 1906, turning the interior into a true work of art.

"Universidad de Barcelona"
The University of Barcelona combines the values of tradition with being an innovative institution of excellence in the fields of teaching, research and transfer. It is an urban university, as open and cosmopolitan as the city of Barcelona itself, and one of the oldest institutions in Catalonia: a clear reflection of the country's political, social and economic events and an important reference point in its history.

"Museo Nacional de arte de Cataluña"
It is a palace with almost a century of history. It is one of Barcelona's most emblematic buildings. Over the years, the building has been the scene of numerous events that have marked the social life of Barcelona since its inauguration in 1929, on the occasion of the International Exhibition. The Museum houses the finest collection of Romanesque mural painting in the world. Alongside the splendour of Gothic art, it offers a fascinating tour of medieval art. It is also the centre of reference for Modernism, with works by Gaudí from the Casa Batlló and the Sagrada Familia.

"Recinto Modernista de Sant Pau"
A former hospital, a modernist jewel. It was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. The Administration Pavilion, the main building of the architectural complex designed by Lluís Domènech i Montaner, houses different rooms that combine functionality, beauty and history to make the best experiences possible. Sant Pau is a city within the city, ideal for making any project a reality.
